... so good to find a good Aussie restaurant

The whole family (Jon, Andrea, Connie and I) went to Red House Seafood at Robertson Quay. Found a nice Aussie place next door serving real Pavlova dessert.

Was a great evening of seafood followed by coffee/dessert next door. Must explore more of the Robertson Quay area. Only drawback is the car park - tight squeeze.

... so good to catch up with old friends

Connie and I caught up with Fong Oi and Oi Lin after our US trip. Connie meets them regularly on Saturdays when I am playing golf but that weekend we met for dinner at Crystal Jade, Great World City because it had been a while since they met because of the CNY holidays and our US trip.

What was interesting was the discussion was centered on holidays - Seattle trip by them and our US trip. Our Emirates experience was one of the topic - why we are swearing off EK flights - the HUGE delays, the poor food selection and bad attitude of the cabin staff.

Anyway, it was a gathering of 'old' friends and the other discussion was about progressive and reading spectacles! Just to show how 'old' we are getting. But it was good to be able to chat easily with each other. What a blessing to have friends .
