.. so good to spend some time with a good friend

Today - Cliff and I went to the Keppel Club gym. I have been going to the gym about once a week and it was good to have another 'retiree' join me there. This was followed by a simple fishball noodle lunch at Harbour Front followed by coffee at Ya Kun. It is surprising how the simple things in life can be so satisfying.

..so good for Jon to land his first real job

Jon was offered a permanent job with Drew & Napier, the largest law firm in Singapore, where he is serving his pupilage. So looks like he has sold his life to them for the foreseeable future but at least he is assured of a reasonably well paid job! Maybe he can start paying his own way from now on.

... so good to see Jon turn 26!

We (Connie, Andrea and I) celebrated Jon's birthday at Lawry's. The food and wine were great and we had a great time. Not sure where the photo they took went but here's some shots from that night.

.. so good for Zainal to visit Ken at Yale

Connie, Zainal and I visited Yale for the CSA Team Championship weekend. It was an eye opener for Zainal to see collegiate squash at its best.

We also met Elise Ramson, Ken's girlfriend.

.. so good to win after 20 years!

Yale beat Harvard (8-1) in the final match of the regular season to clinch the Ivy Championship. This is the first time in 20 years that Yale has won the title outright. Great to be part in making history. Good start to Kenneth's collegiate squash career.

..so good to have yu sheng

Last night we had the first 'yu sheng' of the year at the reunion dinner of my family. It is also the first time we met since Jee Kong passed on. The dinner chatter was actually quite good. Glad we decided to go ahead and have the dinner at soup restaurant (VivoCity).

Just another tradition that we hope we will continue. Tonight was round 2 as we had reunion dinner with Connie's siblings.
